My name is Xenia Reid. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and currently reside south of the city. I am married to a wonderful supportive husband, and we have with three beautiful girls. I currently work full-time as a Human Resource Specialist. I am also a licensed nail technician and take clients by appointment only. I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s at the University of Arizona Global Campus in Computer Software Technology.
Most of my professional background is has been in operations and human resources. I have worked most of my profession as a business analyst working on financial reporting, audits and POS systems testing and have recently started in the human resource field. I do not have much insight in the field of information technology but have done some research and thought this would be a great fit for me. I love to solve problems and learn what makes things work. My aspiration is to graduate with my bachelors in IT and purse my MBA next. This will allow me to have a range of opportunities as I have not yet landed on what I really want to pursue. I want to gain a better understanding of what the field of technology has to offer, and the basics needed to be successful in this course and field of study.
I hope we can learn more about this field together and this blog can be helpful to anyone wanting to pursue the field of IT but is unsure of what IT careers are out there or haven’t decided what path to take in the IT world.
